Landscaping is where JPW started, and more than 35 years on it is still work we love. Full garden makeovers, hard landscaping, decking and pergolas, artificial grass, raised beds and everything in between.

We plan it with you. Levels get sorted, structures built, surfaces laid and planting areas left ready to go, so the finished garden works for the way you actually live, whether that is low maintenance, family lawn or somewhere to entertain.

Because the building side of the firm is under the same roof, walls, steps and structural work are done in-house to the same standard as the planting plan.

Garden Landscaping: Common Questions

What does a garden job usually involve?

Most are a mix: clearing, levelling, paving or turf, a path, beds and sometimes a wall or fence. We quote the whole thing in one go.

Do you design it as well?

John will walk the garden with you and suggest what will actually work for the space and the light before anything is priced.

Do you do ongoing garden maintenance?

No. We do the landscaping work itself, not weekly grass cutting or garden maintenance.

Do you charge for a quote?

No. The site visit and the written quote are both free, and there is no obligation either way. If we think the job does not need doing, or needs doing differently, we will tell you that instead of quoting for it.

Do you want a deposit up front?

No deposit. You pay when the work is finished and you are happy with it. There is also a 14 day cooling off period as standard.

Which areas do you cover?

Morecambe, Heysham, Lancaster, Carnforth, Bolton-le-Sands, Barrow-in-Furness and across to Kendal and the south Lakes. If you are just outside, ask anyway.
